The Bosch GSR 10,8-LI Professional is a versatile cordless screwdriver designed for professional use. It is ideal for driving and loosening screws, as well as drilling into materials such as wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic. The tool is powered by a lithium-ion battery, which is protected against deep discharge by the Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) system.
Operation
The tool features a 2-speed gearbox, allowing for high torque in the first gear and high speed in the second gear. The torque can be precisely adjusted using the 20-step torque presetting ring, ensuring screws are driven flush with the material surface. The integrated PowerLight illuminates the immediate work area, making it easier to work in poorly lit conditions. The tool also includes an automatic spindle lock (Auto-Lock) for manual screwdriving when the battery is empty.

Common problems
Tool does not start
Check if the battery is charged and properly inserted. Ensure the rotational direction switch is not in the center position.
Tool stops during operation
The tool may be overloaded or the battery temperature is outside the permitted range. Allow the tool to cool down.
Gear selector cannot be pushed
Lightly turn the tool holder with the insert tool to align the gears.

- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Check that the correct bit is inserted and locked.
- Set the desired rotational direction.
- Select the appropriate gear (I or II).
- Adjust the torque setting for the specific task.
