Product Description

The Bosch UniversalDrill 18V and UniversalImpact 18V are cordless drill/drivers. They are intended for driving and loosening screws, and for drilling in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic. The UniversalImpact 18V model is additionally designed for impact drilling in brick.

Operation

Starting Operation: Set the rotational direction switch to the middle position to prevent unintentional switching on. Insert the charged battery into the handle until it engages flush. The rotational direction switch changes the tool's direction; right rotation for drilling and driving screws, left rotation for loosening screws and nuts.

Speed and Torque: Speed is controlled by the pressure applied to the on/off switch. The torque presetting ring allows for preselecting the required torque in 20 stages. The UniversalImpact 18V features an additional operating mode presetting ring for selecting between screwdriving, drilling, and impact drilling.

Maintenance and Service

Maintenance and Cleaning: Always remove the battery before carrying out any work on the power tool (e.g., maintenance, tool change, etc.) and during transport and storage. Keep the power tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation.

Disposal
