Product Overview

The HOTO 16V Brushless Drill is a versatile tool designed for tightening and loosening screws, as well as drilling into materials such as drywall, wood, metal, and plastic. It features a brushless motor, an integrated display screen for mode and torque settings, and a USB-C charging port for convenient power management.

How to Use

To install a bit, rotate the chuck until it is loose enough to insert the driver or drill bit, then tighten it securely. The trigger is pressure-sensitive, allowing for variable speed control. Use the forward/lock/reverse button to select the rotation direction or lock the trigger. The function switch allows toggling between screwing and drilling modes. The mode button enables selection between automatic torque mode and manual torque/speed mode, which offers 32 levels of adjustment.

Safety Warnings

Always keep the work area clean and well-lit. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres. Ensure the tool is switched off before connecting to a power source. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection. When drilling, hold the tool firmly to manage reactive torque. If the tool becomes blocked, switch it off immediately to prevent kickback. Never modify the plug or use damaged battery packs. Keep the tool away from heat, fire, and moisture to avoid the risk of explosion or short-circuiting.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

If the drill stops rotating and displays E3 or E9, the battery temperature is likely too high or too low; allow it to reach room temperature. If the battery does not charge, ensure the USB cable is properly connected. If the drill does not operate, check that the direction switch is not in the locked middle position. The battery is not replaceable.
