Quick guide from the manual

This document provides essential instructions for the assembly, safe operation, and maintenance of the Bright Starts Comfort 2 Go Portable Swing. Always read the full manual before use. Key safety requirements include using the restraint system at all times, stopping use when the infant attempts to climb out (approx. 9 months), and never using the product on elevated surfaces or soft surfaces like beds or sofas.

Safety and Warnings

  • Fall and Strangulation Hazard: Always use the restraint system and adjust it to fit snugly. Never leave the child unattended.
  • Suffocation Hazard: Keep the seat fully reclined until the infant is at least 4 months old and can hold their head up without help. Never use on soft surfaces.
  • Weight Limits: Do not use if the child weighs less than 3 kg (6 lbs) or more than 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • General Safety: Never move or lift the product with the baby inside. Never use the toy bar as a handle.

Assembly

The swing requires adult assembly. Follow the numbered steps in the manual to connect the swing frame assemblies, attach the foot assemblies, and secure the seat pad and toy bar. Ensure all parts are securely locked before placing a child in the swing.
