This document provides essential safety, assembly, and maintenance instructions for the Bright Starts 12227-ES Rainforest Vibes Vibrating Bouncer. Always read the full manual before use. The product is intended for infants and must be used only on the floor. Stop using the bouncer when the baby starts trying to sit up or reaches 20 lb (9 kg), whichever comes first.

Safety Warnings

• Fall Hazard: Never leave the child unattended. Use only on the floor. Never lift or carry the baby in the bouncer. Never use the toy bar as a handle.
• Suffocation Hazard: Never use on soft surfaces like beds, sofas, or cushions. This product is not for sleep. If the baby falls asleep, move them to a firm, flat sleep surface immediately.
• General: Always use the restraint system and adjust it to fit snugly. Never attach additional strings or straps.

Assembly

Adult assembly is required. Follow the numbered steps in the manual to connect the base frame tubes, backrest tubes, and footrest wire. Ensure all parts are securely clicked into place before use. The toy bar should be attached to the frame as shown in the assembly diagrams.

Battery Installation

The vibration unit requires (1) size C/LR14 (1.5V) alkaline battery (not included). Use a small Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity as marked. Replace batteries if the vibration function becomes weak or fails to operate.

Care and Cleaning

• Seat Pad: Remove from frame. Fasten all buckles and hook-and-loop patches. Machine wash in cold water, gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat.
• Toy Bar and Toys: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water.
• Frame: Wipe with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap.

Storage and Travel

To disassemble, use a small Phillips screwdriver to depress the release buttons on the inside of each connecting hub. Remove the footrest and base frame tubes from the hubs.
