The CAT CT1CYR is a heavy-duty 11-drawer rolling cabinet designed for professional storage. The unit features a locking mechanism operated by a key-based cam lock. It is equipped with two fixed casters and two swivel casters for mobility.
Assembly
The cabinet requires basic assembly of the side handle and casters. The side handle should be attached using the provided screws. When installing the casters, ensure that the two swivel casters are mounted on the same side of the cabinet for proper maneuverability.
Drawer Operation
The drawers are equipped with slide mechanisms that include black retaining clips. To remove a drawer, simultaneously push the lever up on the left side and down on the right side, then slide the drawer out. To install a drawer, pull the slide out and align the track before pushing the drawer back in. It is normal to feel some resistance when first pushing the drawer in; cycle the drawer in and out 2-3 times to ensure smooth operation. If the drawer feels blocked, remove and re-install it.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and smooth operation of the drawer slides, it is essential to lubricate them periodically with light grease. This maintenance should be performed at least twice a year, or more frequently depending on the intensity of use. Always ensure all drawers are fully closed before engaging the locking mechanism.
