Assembly

The snow thrower requires basic tools for assembly, including wrenches (1/2, 9/16, 3/4 inch), pliers, a screwdriver, and a measuring tape. Follow these steps:

• Remove all packing material and roll the unit off the carton.
• Raise the upper handle into the operating position and secure it with the provided hardware.
• Install the chute crank assembly by connecting the universal joint to the worm gear and securing it with the clevis pin and cotter pin.
• Attach the snow chute to the flange using the provided carriage bolts, flatwashers, and nuts.
• Check the clutch control cable adjustment before first use.

Operation

Familiarize yourself with the controls: the auger drive lever, crank assembly (for discharge direction), chute deflector (for distance), and the engine controls (primer, choke, throttle, and ignition key). To start the engine using the 120V electric starter: ensure the auger lever is disengaged, set the throttle to Fast, rotate the choke to ON, connect the power cord, prime the engine (based on temperature), and press the starter button. Once running, move the choke to the No Choke position and disconnect the power cord.
