This document provides assembly and installation instructions for the Crystorama 131-MK Calypso light fixture. The fixture is damp-rated and requires installation by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electric Code. Always turn off power before starting any electrical work.

Technical specifications

• Bulb: 1 Medium Base bulb, 40W recommended, 60W maximum. LED bulbs are recommended for extended use.
• Rating: Damp rated.
• Crystal set: Includes 29 sets of 30mm crystals (A), 29 sets of 76mm crystals (B), and one 30mm ball with chain (C).

Installation for hanging

1. Determine the desired hanging height and adjust the chain length accordingly.
2. Open one chain link, connect it to the fixture loop, and close the link. Repeat for the canopy loop.
3. Thread mounting screws into the mounting bar and secure with small hex nuts.
4. Attach the mounting bar to the outlet box using outlet box screws.
5. Raise the canopy, allowing mounting screws to protrude through the canopy holes, and secure with ball nuts.
6. Hang crystals on the metal ring and bottom basket, alternating between crystal types A and B.
7. Attach glass drop C to the bottom of the basket.
8. Install the bulb into the socket.

Installation for ceiling mount

1. Loosen the canopy hex nut and disassemble the canopy.
2. Remove the top loop from the fixture.
3. Slide the canopy, metal washer, and lock washer over the nipple, then secure with the hex nut.
4. Thread mounting screws into the mounting bar and secure with small hex nuts.
5. Attach the mounting bar to the outlet box using outlet box screws.
6. Raise the canopy, allowing mounting screws to protrude through the canopy holes, and secure with ball nuts.
7. Install the bulb into the socket.
8. Hang crystals on the metal ring and bottom basket, alternating between crystal types A and B.
9. Attach glass drop C to the bottom of the basket.
