The Cuisinart 14-Cup Food Processor is a versatile kitchen tool designed for household use. It includes a 14-cup work bowl, a metal blade for chopping, mixing, and dough, an adjustable slicing disc, and a reversible shredding disc. All food-contact materials are BPA-free.

Safety Precautions

• Sharp Edges: The cutting tools have very sharp edges. Handle blades and discs with extreme care.
• Electrical Safety: Always unplug the unit when not in use, before cleaning, or when changing parts. Do not immerse the base in water.
• Operation: Never feed food by hand; always use the provided pusher. Ensure the bowl and cover are securely locked before operation.
• Supervision: Keep away from children. Do not operate under the influence of substances that affect perception.

Assembly and Operation

Before first use, wash all removable parts. Place the work bowl on the base and lock it clockwise. Attach the desired blade or disc onto the stem adapter. Secure the work bowl cover and pusher assembly. Use the On paddle to start the motor and the Off/Pulse paddle to stop or control processing duration.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The work bowl, cover, and accessories are top-rack dishwasher safe. The housing base should be wiped clean with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Always store blades and discs in the provided storage hub when not in use. Never store the processor with the cover assembly in the locked position.

Troubleshooting

If the motor does not start, ensure the bowl and cover are properly locked. If the motor slows down during heavy loads, redistribute ingredients in the feed tube or process in smaller batches. If the unit vibrates, ensure the rubber feet are clean and dry. The motor is protected by an automatic thermal circuit breaker; if it overheats, unplug the unit and allow it to cool for 20-30 minutes.
