Table of contents

Quick guide from the manual

This document provides essential instructions for the DeWalt DXPW 001M and DXPW 002M high-pressure washers. It covers assembly, safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Always ensure the machine is placed on a firm, stable surface during operation and is properly supplied with water to prevent damage.

Assembly

The appliance is delivered partially assembled. Refer to the illustrations in the manual (Fig. 2) for the assembly sequence. Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply before performing any assembly or installation.

Startup and Operation

  1. Turn on the water supply tap fully.
  2. Release the safety catch (D).
  3. Depress the gun trigger for a few seconds to vent air, then start the appliance using the starter device (ON/I).

Note: If the gun trigger is released, the dynamic pressure automatically cuts out the motor. When depressed, the pressure drop restarts the motor. Allow 4-5 seconds between releasing and depressing the trigger for correct operation.

Maintenance

Always disconnect the plug from the power socket before performing any maintenance. Inspect the power cable, high-pressure hose, fittings, trigger gun, and lance before each use. Clean the nozzle using the provided tool (C1) and inspect the inlet filter (L) regularly.

Storage and Transportation

Before winter storage, run the machine with non-aggressive, non-toxic antifreeze. Store the machine in a dry place, protected from frost. Transport the machine as illustrated in the manual.
