Jump to the sectionProduct Overview
The Deye BOS-G is a high-voltage, modular lithium-ion battery energy storage system designed for reliable backup power in various applications, including supermarkets, banks, schools, and farms. The system is highly scalable, allowing for the connection of up to 12 battery modules in series, with total energy capacity ranging from 15.36 kWh to 61.44 kWh. Each module features high integration, long service life, and a wide operating temperature range.
Safety Information
Safety is paramount when handling high-voltage equipment. The system must be installed and maintained only by qualified and authorized personnel. Users must adhere to all safety rules, including the use of insulated tools and protective gear. The battery must be installed in an enclosed, fireproof space with adequate ventilation and no exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, or corrosive environments. Never open, disassemble, or mechanically damage the battery modules, as this poses a risk of chemical burns and explosion.
Installation and Startup
Installation requires a stable, flat surface with sufficient bearing capacity to support the total system weight, which can reach 628 kg for a full rack. The rack assembly involves securing side beams, crossbeams, and tripods. Once the rack is assembled, battery modules are inserted from bottom to top. Proper grounding is essential to prevent electric shock. After all electrical connections are secured, the system is started by turning on the air switch on the high-voltage control box and pressing the START button.

Maintenance and Monitoring
Regular maintenance is required to ensure safe operation. This includes annual visual inspections and checking all electrical connections for tightness. The system can be monitored via the HVESS-Monitor software, which provides real-time data on voltage, current, state of charge (SoC), and temperature. The software also allows for firmware upgrades and the retrieval of history records for diagnostic purposes. If a fault occurs, the system provides clear error codes on the screen and through the monitoring software to facilitate troubleshooting.
Disposal and Recycling
The BOS-G system contains valuable raw materials that can be recycled. Do not dispose of battery modules as domestic waste. Contact your installer or the manufacturer for proper disposal procedures in accordance with local environmental regulations.

Practical help
Common problems
Check the specific fault type on the screen or HVESS-Monitor and refer to the fault description table for trigger conditions and corrective actions.
Verify all communication cable connections between battery modules and the high-voltage control box.
Indicates no high voltage detected after the loop relay is closed; contact technical support.
Before use
- Ensure the installation site has sufficient bearing capacity.
- Verify that the environment is dry, enclosed, and fireproof.
- Check that all electrical connections are tightened to specified torque.
- Confirm that the air switch is in the OFF position before installation.
- Ensure all personnel are wearing safety goggles and protective gloves.
- Verify that the battery modules are transported and installed vertically.
Specs in practice
