Quick guide from the manual
This document provides essential instructions for the installation and configuration of the EcoDim ECO-DIM.12 0-10V LED dimmer. The device is designed for dimming lamps with electronic ballasts or other items requiring a 0-10V control voltage. Installation must be performed by a qualified tradesman in accordance with national regulations.
Installation
Before starting, ensure the electricity is switched off. Follow these steps to install the dimmer:
- Step 1: Connect the wires according to the provided connection diagrams.
- Step 2: Secure the dimmer into the mounting box using screws.
- Step 3: Switch the electricity back on and turn on the connected lights using the dimmer shaft.
- Step 4: Attach the cover plate and dimmer knob.
MIN/MAX Adjustment
To ensure optimal dimming range, perform the following adjustments using a screwdriver:
- MIN Adjustment: Turn the dimmer to the left (minimum output). Turn the MIN potentiometer to the right until it stops, then slowly turn it left until the brightness stops decreasing.
- MAX Adjustment: Turn the dimmer to the right (maximum output). Turn the MAX potentiometer to the left until it stops, then slowly turn it right until the brightness stops increasing.
Connection Diagrams
The dimmer supports two main configurations: using only 0-10V dimming control, or using 0-10V dimming control combined with an ON/OFF switch. Ensure the wiring matches the specific diagram for your setup, supporting up to 30 drivers.
