The FBT MUSE 118FSND is a high-performance powered subwoofer designed for professional touring and permanent installations. It features a hybrid band-pass design, 1600W RMS amplification, and advanced networking capabilities via Dante and AES70. Product Overview
The MUSE 118FSND is equipped with an 18-inch neodymium woofer and a Class D amplifier. It is designed to be used in ground-stacked or suspended configurations, often in conjunction with the MUSE 210LND line array. The enclosure is built from 15mm birch plywood and includes integrated hardware for suspension.
Connection Panel

The subwoofer features an onboard OLED display and a push-encoder knob. This interface allows users to:

Practical help
Common problems
No sound output
Check XLR input connections and ensure the DSP volume is not set to minimum. Verify the signal source is active.
Network/Dante not recognized
Ensure the EtherCon/RJ45 cable is securely connected to the NET IN port. Verify that the INFINITO software is running and the network settings are configured correctly.
Cardioid configuration ineffective
Ensure the subwoofer is physically oriented correctly (rear-facing) and the appropriate DSP preset for cardioid operation is selected.
Before use
- Verify the AC power source matches the device requirements (100-120V or 220-240V).
- Ensure the mounting surface or flybar is rated for the weight of the subwoofer (67 kg).
- Connect the audio source via XLR cables.
- Connect the network cable to the NET IN port if remote management is required.
- Check that the enclosure is stable and the grille is undamaged.
