The FLEX cordless orbital sanders (ORE 2-125 18-EC, OSE 2-80 18-EC, ODE 2-100 18-EC) are high-performance tools designed for professional use in industry and trade. They are intended for dry sanding of wood, plastic, paint, filler, and similar materials using Velcro-backed sanding sheets.

Safety Instructions

Risk of Fire: Avoid overheating the material and the grinder. Always empty the dust container before taking breaks. Grinding dust in the dust sack, microfilter, or paper sack can self-ignite under unfavorable conditions, especially if mixed with paint, polyurethane residue, or other chemicals, or when grinding metal where sparks are generated.

• Ensure the workplace is well-ventilated.
• Use external dust extraction whenever possible.
• Wear a P2 class respirator mask.
• Use only for dry sanding to prevent electric shock.
• Secure workpieces in a vice or clamping device.
• Do not grind light metals with a magnesium content greater than 80%.

Operation

Before use, ensure the sanding sheet is correctly attached and aligned with the holes in the sanding plate. The sander features four speed levels, adjustable via the speed setting buttons. The memory function remembers the last used speed setting upon restarting. Always switch the tool off before putting it down and wait for it to come to a complete standstill.

Maintenance and Care

Remove the battery before performing any work on the tool. Regularly clean the tool and the grille in front of the vent slots. Periodically blow out the housing interior and motor with dry compressed air. For spare parts and accessories, visit the manufacturer's website.
