The Garvee 1500 Lbs Tri-Fold Loading Ramps are designed for loading 2-wheeled dirt bikes and 4-wheeled ATVs onto trucks. Important: Do not use these ramps for 3-wheeled vehicles, vehicles with wheel widths wider than the ramp, or if the tailgate height exceeds 36 inches. Always use safety chains and ensure the ramps are clean and dry before use.
Assembly Instructions
Before assembly, ensure you have all parts listed in the parts diagram. The flange must face down with the tongue edge fully contacting the tailgate.

- Tongue Assembly: Line up the four holes on the Tongue (2) with the four holes on the Upper Ramp (3). Insert four Bolts (1) from the top and secure with Flat Washers (16), Spring Washers (15), and Nuts (14).
- Safety Chain: Attach the Safety Chain (13) to the side hole near the tongue using a Bolt (12), Flat Washer (11), and Lock Nut (10).
- Repeat the process for the second ramp.
Setup and Operation
Proper setup is critical to prevent injury. Ensure the truck is in park with the emergency brake engaged and the engine off.
- Place the tongue (angled lip) of the ramps on the tailgate. The tongue must face down and fully contact the tailgate.
- Extend the safety chain on each ramp into the truck bed and attach it to a secure point on the truck chassis.
- Pull the ramps backwards until the chains are taut. The entire tongue portion must fit onto the tailgate.
- Adjust chains to equal length if necessary.
Loading and Unloading
General Safety: Never ride the vehicle up or down the ramps. All persons not involved in the process must stand clear. Be aware of dynamic loading; sudden movements can cause product failure.
4-Wheel ATV Loading
- Ensure the ATV is centered on the ramps.
- If using a winch, ensure the winch and mounting points have appropriate capacity.
- For truck-mounted winches, attach the cable to the bottom front part of the frame.
- Stand to the side of the ATV while operating the winch.
2-Wheel Dirt Bike Loading
- Do not load alone; have a qualified adult assist.
- One person pushes the bike slowly up the ramp while a helper in the truck bed guides and applies the brake if necessary.
- Once loaded, secure the bike with four tie-down straps (not included).
Maintenance and Servicing
- Before each use: Inspect for loose hardware, misalignment, binding, or cracked/broken parts.
- Cleaning: Clean ramps after each use to remove dirt, oil, grease, and debris.
- Storage: Store in a dry location to prevent rust.
- Repairs: Do not use damaged equipment. Repairs must be performed by a qualified technician.
