This guide provides instructions for the GE Holiday 00179 LED Icicle Set. This product is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Always follow basic electrical safety precautions when using this product.
Safety Instructions
- Do not install on trees with metal needles, leaves, or branch coverings.

Installation and Use
When placing the product on a live tree, ensure the tree is well-maintained, fresh, and stable. Do not use on trees where needles are brown or break off easily. Before using or reusing, inspect the product carefully for cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation, cracks in lampholders, or loose connections. Discard any damaged products.
Connecting Sets End to End
The lighting string is rated 14.4 Watts (0.12 Amps). To connect sets end-to-end:
- Choose one set as your master set; this is the only set connected to a plug.
- Unscrew the coaxial connector between the light sets you wish to connect.
- Connect each set end-to-end using the coaxial connections, screwing each connection cap tightly.
- You may only add one (1) additional set to your master set for a total of two (2) connected sets.
User Servicing (Replacing Lamps)
The bulb locking feature keeps bulbs securely in place. To replace a bulb:

- Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
- Remove the lock from the slot.
- Pull the lamp and plastic base straight out of the lampholder.
- Replace with a 3.3V, 20mA LED lamp provided with the product.
- Put the lock back into the slot to ensure a secure fit.
Do not perform maintenance or troubleshoot while the power is on.
