Lamp replacement procedure
Lamp replacement procedure
  1. Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle. Do not unplug by pulling the cord.
  2. Pull the lamp and plastic base straight out of the lampholder.
  3. Replace the lamp with only a 3.3 Volt, 0.066 Watt, LED type lamp (provided with the product).

If the new lamp base does not fit in the lampholder:

  1. Remove the base of the burned-out lamp by straightening the lamp leads and gently pulling the lamp out.
  2. Thread the leads of the new lamp through the holes in the old base, with one lead in each hole.
  3. After the lamp is fully inserted into the base, bend each lead up so that the leads touch the contacts inside the lampholder.
