Getting Started

Before using the kettle for the first time, it is essential to perform a cleaning cycle. Fill the kettle with fresh water, boil it, and discard the water. Repeat this process three times to ensure the appliance is clean and ready for daily use. Always ensure the power base is placed on a stable, dry surface before connecting it to a power outlet.

Operation

To operate the kettle, open the lid, fill it with the desired amount of water, and close the lid securely. Place the kettle on the power base and connect it to the power supply. Use the control panel to select your preferred temperature (50, 60, 70, 80, 90 degrees Celsius) or the boil function. The kettle will emit an audible beep when the desired temperature is reached. An optional keep-warm function is available, which maintains the selected temperature for up to 30 minutes.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance is required to keep the kettle in optimal condition. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior and the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the kettle or the base in water. To remove limescale, which should be done approximately every three months, use a mixture of vinegar and water or a solution of baking soda and water. Fill the kettle with the mixture, boil it, and let it rest for 15 minutes or overnight for stubborn deposits. After descaling, rinse the kettle thoroughly and boil fresh water at least twice to remove any residue.

Safety Precautions

Always handle the kettle with care when it contains hot water. Ensure the lid is properly closed during operation. If the kettle is left inactive for more than one minute, it will automatically enter standby mode. Keep the appliance away from children and ensure it is not used near water sources that could cause electrical hazards.
