This document provides essential installation and safety instructions for Häfele LED Drivers (12V/24V). These drivers are Class II independent appliances designed for furniture integration in dry indoor environments (IP 20). Always ensure the total wattage of connected LED lights does not exceed the driver's maximum output power specified on the type label.
Electrical safety
- Never open or modify product components.
- Do not insert foreign objects into openings to avoid electric shock or short circuits.
- Keep components away from moisture, water, damp areas, or explosive environments.
- Do not carry the product by the cable or pull the cable to disconnect from the socket.
- Keep components away from heat, sharp edges, or moving parts.
- Install components out of reach of children.
Installation
Before starting, check the scope of delivery. Do not install damaged parts or components not approved by Häfele. All assembly must be performed in a currentless condition; switch off the power supply before beginning.
- Use suitable fixing material for the furniture material.
- Ensure the total wattage of all connected LED lights and components does not exceed the maximum output power of the driver (see type label).
- Ensure sufficient air circulation at the installation location.
- Do not stack drivers.
Cleaning and maintenance
Disconnect from the mains before cleaning. Clean components with a soft, dry, and fibre-free cloth. Do not use chemical cleaning agents, abrasive cleaners, or liquids. The product contains no user-repairable parts; in case of a defect, replace the entire assembly and contact the manufacturer.
Troubleshooting
If the lights connected to the driver are flashing:
- Ensure sufficient air circulation at the installation location.
- The wattage of the connected lights/devices exceeds the output power of the driver. Reduce the connected load.
Disposal
Do not dispose of the product with household waste. Observe country-specific regulations for electronic waste disposal.

Common problems
Connected lights are flashing
Ensure sufficient air circulation at the installation site and reduce the total wattage of connected lights to stay within the driver's maximum output power.

- Check scope of delivery for missing or damaged parts.
- Ensure power supply is switched off before starting installation.
- Verify that the total wattage of all connected LED lights does not exceed the driver's maximum output power.
- Use suitable fixing material for the specific furniture surface.
