The Haier freezer is controlled via the front display panel. Upon plugging in the appliance, the display shows the actual internal temperature. To set the temperature, press the A2 button to cycle through settings from -14°C to -26°C. The default setting is -18°C. If the freezer is not cold enough, an alarm will sound; this can be silenced by pressing the A4 button after selecting the alarm function with A3.
Safety and Precautions
- Electrical Safety: Use an earthed socket. Do not damage the power cord. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified professional.

Installation

If installing in a row of kitchen units, ensure there is a ventilation duct of at least 50mm depth at the back of the stack cabinet.

- Fast Freezing: Use the S.FRZ function to quickly freeze fresh food. It is recommended to activate this 30 hours before adding food.
- Eco Function: Optimizes energy consumption by adjusting the temperature range.
- Child Lock: Prevents accidental changes to settings.
- Alarm Signals: The freezer features a temperature alarm (code HH) and a door alarm if left open for more than 60 seconds.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The freezer features automatic defrosting, so no manual operation is required. Clean the appliance regularly with a soft cloth, warm water, and mild detergent. Always unplug the power cord before cleaning. When moving the freezer, do not tilt it more than 45 degrees to avoid damaging the cooling system.
Troubleshooting
Before calling for service, check the following: If the compressor does not work, ensure the freezer is plugged in and not in a defrost cycle. If the freezer runs too frequently, check if the door is closed properly, the gasket is clean, or if the ventilation is blocked. If there is an abnormal sound, ensure the freezer is level and not touching surrounding objects.

Compressor does not work

Freezer runs frequently or for too long
Ensure the door is not opened too frequently, the door is closed tightly, the temperature is not set too low, and the condenser is clean.
High temperature inside
Check if the door is closed properly, the condenser is clean, and the temperature setting is appropriate.
