The Harley Benton CPT-20 is a chromatic floor tuner designed for musical instruments. To use the device, connect your instrument cable to the INPUT jack, connect a 9V DC power supply, and press the BYPASS switch to activate the tuning function. The device features a True Bypass circuit to ensure signal integrity when the tuner is not in use.

Safety instructions

• Intended use: This device is for tuning musical instruments only. Improper use may result in injury or damage.

Connections and controls

The device features the following inputs and indicators:

• 1 [b]: LED for flat notes.
• 2 [9 V]: Connection for the power supply.
• 3 [LED]: LED for notes with correct tuning.
• 4 [#]: LED for sharp notes.
• 5 [INPUT]: 6.35 mm jack socket for instrument input.
• 6 [BYPASS]: Switch for activating the tuning function.
• 7 [OUTPUT]: 6.35 mm jack socket for signal output.

Operation

1. Connect the instrument cable to the INPUT jack.
2. Connect the cable of the optionally available power supply to the DC 9 V socket. The device will be in bypass mode.
3. Press the BYPASS switch to activate the tuning function.
4. Connect the rest of the signal chain to the OUTPUT jack.
