This document provides essential information for the safe operation of the Harley Benton D-SEED dual channel digital delay pedal. Always ensure the device is used in a dry, clean environment and powered by a compatible 9V DC power supply. If the device is not in use for long periods or during electrical storms, disconnect the power supply to prevent damage.

Controls and connections
The pedal features the following controls and connection points:
- MIX: Rotary control to adjust the effects ratio to the overall volume.

Safety and maintenance

Common problems
Device does not power on
Verify that the power adapter is connected to DC.IN and that the outlet provides power. Ensure the adapter meets the 9V DC, center negative specification.
No sound output
Check that the BYPASS footswitch is not engaged (the ON/BPS LED should be lit). Ensure cables are securely connected to IN and OUT jacks.
Cannot switch channels
Use the CHANNEL footswitch on the pedal or connect an external foot switch to the EXT.SW jack.
Before use
- Verify the power adapter provides 9V DC with center negative polarity.
- Ensure the AC outlet is protected by a residual current circuit breaker.
- Check that the environment is not extremely dusty, dirty, or humid.
- Connect your instrument to the IN jack and your amplifier to the OUT jack.
- Confirm the device is placed on a stable surface.
