Product overview

Safety instructions

Assembly
To assemble the guide bar and saw chain:

- Loosen the bar knob/nut and remove the drive sprocket cover.
- Place the guide bar on the bar bolt.
- Fit the saw chain over the drive sprocket and into the groove of the guide bar. Ensure the cutters point forward on the top edge of the bar.
- Install the drive sprocket cover and tighten the bar knob/nut.
- Adjust the chain tension until it is tight against the guide bar.
Operation
Starting the product:
- Check the chain brake, power trigger, and power trigger lockout.
- Engage the chain brake.
- Insert the battery.
- Push the start/stop button until the green LED comes on.
Cutting techniques: Always use full power when cutting and decrease to idle speed after each cut. Be aware of the push and pull stroke forces. If the chain gets caught, stop the motor immediately.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for safety and performance. Perform checks before use, weekly, and monthly. This includes cleaning the external parts, checking the chain brake, inspecting the guide bar for wear, sharpening the saw chain, and cleaning the air inlet. Always remove the battery before performing maintenance.
Troubleshooting
The user interface provides LED feedback for faults. If the warning indicator flashes, it may indicate a temperature deviation or overload. If the battery LED flashes, check the battery charge or temperature. Refer to the troubleshooting table in the manual for specific LED patterns and solutions.
