Device Overview

Assembly

To assemble the unit, attach the loop handle to the shaft between the marked arrows. For the two-piece shaft, align the tab with the arrow on the coupling and push until it clicks. Attach the cutting attachment guard and trimmer head by locking the shaft with a small screwdriver and tightening the head counterclockwise (for straight shafts).

Operation

Use a mixture of gasoline and two-cycle oil (50:1). Before starting, ensure the product is on a flat surface and the cutting attachment is clear of obstacles. For a cold start, prime the bulb 10 times, pull the choke up, and pull the starter rope until the engine starts. For a warm start, prime 10 times and pull the starter rope.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial. Weekly tasks include cleaning external surfaces and checking idle speed. Monthly tasks involve checking the starter rope. Yearly tasks include checking the spark plug, applying grease to the drive shaft, and cleaning the cooling system. Adjust the idle speed using the T-screw so the cutting attachment does not rotate at idle.

Safety

Always wear approved personal protective equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection, and sturdy boots. Keep a 15m (50ft) safety distance from others. Do not operate the product if you are fatigued or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
