Product Overview
The IKEA TRÅDFRI 10W LED driver is a component designed for powering and controlling compatible lighting products within the IKEA Home smart ecosystem. It allows for wireless dimming and ON/OFF control when paired with a compatible steering device, such as a remote control, or via the IKEA Home smart app when used with the TRÅDFRI gateway or DIRIGERA hub.
Installation and Pairing
To begin, connect the driver to the mains power. To pair a steering device, ensure the driver is powered on, then hold the steering device within 5 cm of the pairing symbol on the driver. Press and hold the pairing button on the steering device for at least 10 seconds. A red LED will light up on the steering device, and the connected light will dim and flash once to confirm successful pairing.
Factory Reset
If the device becomes unresponsive or needs to be un-paired, you can perform a factory reset. This can be done by carefully pressing the small button marked RESET on the driver enclosure using a pen tip. Alternatively, you can perform a factory reset by toggling the main power switch 6 times.
Safety and Maintenance
The product is intended for indoor use only in temperatures between 5°C and 45°C. Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources to prevent overheating. For cleaning, use a dry soft cloth; never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents. Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself, as opening the enclosure may expose you to dangerous voltage.

The driver operates on an input of 100-120 VAC (50/60 Hz) and provides a 24.0V DC output with a maximum total load of 1.25 A (10.0 W). The wireless radio range is approximately 10 meters in open air, operating on the 2400-2483.5 MHz frequency band.

Device not responding or pairing issues
