How to wear
For the best audio performance and fit, try the different ear tip sizes included in the box. Ensure the earbuds are inserted securely into your ears.
Power on & connect
To connect your earbuds for the first time:
- Open the charging case.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Select "JBL TUNE230NC TWS" from your device's Bluetooth settings.
- For Android 6.0+ devices, use the Fast Pair feature for quick connection.
Controls
The earbuds feature touch controls on both the left (L) and right (R) sides:
- Tap x1: Play/Pause, Answer/End call.
- Tap x2: Next track, Mute/Unmute microphone.
- Tap x3: Previous track.
- Hold (2s): Activate Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri/Others).
- ANC/Ambient Aware: Cycle through ANC, Ambient Aware, and Off modes.
Note: Advanced controls and voice assistant assignment can be configured in the JBL Headphones app.
Manual setup
- Connect to a new Bluetooth device: With the earbuds in the case, hold the touch control for 5 seconds.
- Factory reset: With the earbuds in the case, tap twice and hold for 5 seconds.
Charging
Charge the case using the provided USB-C cable. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. Ensure the earbuds are properly seated in the case for charging.
