This guide covers the setup, app connection, and troubleshooting for the JOOM 1-30M LED Strip Lights. The system uses a USB power source and can be controlled via a mobile app or a remote controller.
Getting started
To set up the light strip:
- Connect the light strip to the control cable.
- Plug the cable into a USB power port.
- If using the remote, ensure a CR2025 button battery is installed correctly.
App connection and Bluetooth
To control the lights via smartphone:
- Download the LotusLamp X app by scanning the QR code provided in the manual or searching in the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone.
- Plug in the strip light.
- Open the app; it should pair with the light strip automatically.
Linking multiple strips
The 20-meter and 30-meter versions are composed of smaller segments connected via a splitter:
- 20-meter strip: Composed of two 10-meter strips connected with a splitter.
- 30-meter strip: Composed of two 15-meter strips connected with a splitter.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, follow these steps:
- Light strip does not glow: Try switching the positive and negative poles of the USB connection.
- Remote not working: Ensure the battery is installed correctly and align the controller with the power supply.
- App connection issues: Ensure Bluetooth is on. If it fails to connect, exit the app and reopen it, or restart your phone. Note that Bluetooth 4.0 supports one-to-many connections, not many-to-many.
