This document provides installation instructions for the Kuryakyn Phantom Brake Pedal Pad designed for FL Softail motorcycles. Before beginning, ensure the motorcycle is parked on a hard, level surface and the ignition is turned off. Crucial: Allow the engine and exhaust system to fully cool to prevent injury during installation.

- 1 FL Brake Pad
- 1 5/16-18 x 3/4” Button Socket Cap Screw
- 1 5/16” Flat Washer
Installation steps
- Remove the existing brake pedal pad and set it aside; it will not be reused.
- Locate the provided FL Brake Pedal Pad and align it over the brake lever.
- Prepare the mounting hardware: place the Flat Washer onto the Button Socket Cap Screw and apply a small amount of blue Loctite to the threads of the screw.
- Insert the screw and washer assembly through the mounting hole on the bottom of the brake pedal and pedal pad.
- Fully tighten the hardware.
Maintenance
It is the installer's responsibility to ensure that all fasteners, including pre-assembled ones, are tightened before operating the motorcycle. Periodic inspection and maintenance are required on all fasteners to ensure safety and product longevity.
