This document provides essential information for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of the Light Sky 0115-SEAGUL effect light. Key requirements include installation by qualified professionals, proper grounding, and maintaining adequate ventilation (at least 20cm from adjacent surfaces). The unit is rated for ambient temperatures between -20°C and 45°C.
Safety Instructions
- Always disconnect power before servicing or cleaning.
- Do not operate in dusty or dirty environments.
- Ensure the unit is securely fastened with a safety cable capable of enduring 30 free-fall drops from 300mm.
- Keep combustible objects at least 0.5m away from the running lamp.

Installation

The unit supports DMX512, RDM, and ART-NET protocols. For DMX connections, use a 3-pin or 5-pin XLR cable in a daisy-chain configuration. Always terminate the last unit in the chain with a 120Ω resistor between pin 2 and pin 3 to prevent signal errors.
Fixture Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal light output. Use a soft, lint-free cloth with glass cleaning fluid. Do not use solvents. Check air inlets and outlets for debris after performances to prevent fire hazards or fan damage.
Troubleshooting
- LED off: Check power supply, voltage, and DMX controller status.
- No control response: Verify DMX address, cable integrity, and signal chain connections.
- Unit won't move: Check for internal damage, loose connections, or electrical faults.
