Quick Guide

The Lloytron World Globe 15w Touch Table Lamp is a decorative lighting fixture featuring a 4-way touch sensor. To operate, simply plug the lamp into a mains socket and touch any metal part of the lamp to cycle through the brightness settings: Low (mood light), Medium, High, and Off. Ensure the lamp is placed on a flat surface and kept away from damp or wet conditions.

Assembly and Bulb Replacement

The lamp comes pre-assembled with a 15w Pygmy bulb included. If you need to replace the bulb, follow these steps:

1. Unclip the top of the globe from the top axis arm.
2. Carefully remove the globe to access the lampholder and bulb at the bottom axis arm.
3. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new bulb of the same wattage and style (Max 15w E14 Pygmy).
4. Re-assemble the globe in reverse order.

Important: Always allow the bulb and lampshade assembly to cool down before attempting to replace the bulb. Never touch the bare bulb with your fingers, as grease or oil can reduce its operating life; use a soft cloth or facial tissue instead.

Operation

The lamp uses a touch-sensitive mechanism. Touching any metal part of the lamp initiates the following sequence:

• First touch: ON (Low level 'mood' light)
• Second touch: Medium level light
• Third touch: High level, bright light
• Fourth touch: OFF

Safety Precautions

• For household use only; not intended for commercial use.
• Do not use in bathrooms or damp/wet conditions.
• Do not use with external timers or remote control systems.
• Do not use CFL (Compact Fluorescent) bulbs unless they are specifically suitable for use with dimmers.
• Not suitable for persons under the age of 14 years.
• Not suitable for persons fitted with a pacemaker.
• PAT Test Warning: This lamp contains a touch sensor and should not be exposed to high test voltages (such as PAT testing), as this could damage the sensor.

Wiring and Electrical Safety

The appliance operates on 220-240V~ 50Hz AC mains and is fitted with a 3-pin BSI Approved plug. If you need to change or refit the plug, follow the wiring code:

• Blue wire: Connect to the terminal marked 'N' or coloured Black (Neutral).
• Brown wire: Connect to the terminal marked 'L' or coloured Red (Live).
• Important: Do not connect either wire to the Earth terminal.

The appliance must be protected by a 3 Amp fuse in a 13 Amp type (BS1363) plug. Use only ASTA approved BS1362 fuses.

Do not dispose of this product with household waste. Please take this product to the appropriate waste collection point for proper treatment, recovery, and recycling.
