This document provides visual instructions for the safe installation of the Philips Cinnabar LED ceiling light. Before beginning, ensure the main power supply is switched off at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
Installation steps
- Power Off: Ensure the electricity is turned off at the main breaker before starting any work.
- Remove Cover: Carefully remove the diffuser/cover from the light fixture.
- Remove Base: Detach the mounting plate/base from the fixture.
- Mounting: Drill the necessary holes in the ceiling, insert wall anchors if required, and screw the mounting base securely to the ceiling.
- Wiring: Connect the supply wires to the terminal block. Ensure the wires are stripped to 8mm. Connect the Live (L), Neutral (N), and Earth/Ground wires according to the markings on the terminal block.
- Attach Fixture: Secure the light fixture back onto the mounted base.
- Power On: Restore power at the main breaker to test the light.
Safety and Maintenance
Always ensure the fixture is properly grounded. Do not attempt to modify the internal wiring. If the light fails to turn on, verify the power supply and check that all wire connections in the terminal block are secure.
