The Philips SalonDry Compact is designed for efficient hair drying. Before use, ensure the local voltage matches the appliance requirements. Always unplug the device after use, especially in a bathroom environment. If the device overheats, it will switch off automatically; unplug it and allow it to cool down before checking the air grilles for blockages.

Safety instructions

• Do not use the appliance near water, bathtubs, showers, or basins.
• If using in a bathroom, unplug immediately after use, even if switched off.
• Do not block the air grilles or insert metal objects into them.
• Do not use on artificial hair.
• Do not wind the power cord around the appliance.
• Always unplug by holding the plug, not by pulling the cord.

• Children aged 8 and above may use the appliance under supervision.

Using the hairdryer

Connect the plug to a power supply socket. For precise drying, attach the concentrator nozzle onto the hairdryer. To remove the attachment, simply pull it off.

Adjust the airflow switch to the desired setting:

• Hot and strong airflow: For thick hair.
• ThermoProtect: For gentle and efficient drying.
• Off: To switch off the appliance.

Maintenance and storage

After use, switch off and unplug the appliance. Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down completely. Clean the appliance using a damp cloth. Store in a safe, dry, dust-free place. You can also use the hanging loop for convenient storage.
