Getting Started

Before using the speaker for the first time, ensure the built-in battery is fully charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the provided USB-C cable. The LED indicator will glow red during charging and turn off once the battery is fully charged. To turn the speaker on or off, press the power button; you will hear a voice prompt confirming the action. The speaker will automatically power off after 15 minutes of inactivity if no Bluetooth signal is detected.

Bluetooth Connectivity

To connect your device, turn on the speaker, which will automatically enter pairing mode indicated by a slowly flashing white light. You can also press the Bluetooth button to initiate pairing. Select 'Philips S1509' from your device's Bluetooth menu. The speaker supports a range of up to 30 meters in open areas. Once connected, the LED will glow solid blue.

Stereo Mode

You can pair two identical TAS1509 speakers for stereo sound. Turn on both speakers and ensure they are in pairing mode. Press the Bluetooth button twice on both units to enter stereo pairing mode. Once connected, the primary speaker's LED will glow solid blue, and the secondary speaker's LED will glow solid white. You can control playback and volume on both speakers simultaneously from either unit.

Safety and Maintenance

To maintain the longevity of the built-in lithium battery, charge it to approximately 50% every 6 months if the device is not in use. Clean the speaker only with a microfiber cloth. Keep the device away from water, moisture, direct sunlight, open flames, and heat sources. Never attempt to disassemble the speaker or lubricate any parts, as this will void the warranty and may pose a safety risk.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, ensure the speaker is charged and within range of your Bluetooth device. If the speaker becomes unresponsive, try restarting it. If you cannot find the speaker in your Bluetooth list, press the Bluetooth button to re-enter pairing mode. For persistent issues, ensure no other devices are already connected to the speaker.
