Product Overview

The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro is a high-performance outdoor security camera with integrated floodlights. It is designed for hardwired installation to a 100-240V power source and provides advanced motion detection and video monitoring capabilities.

Safety Information

Warning: Risk of electrical shock. Always disconnect power at the fuse or circuit breaker before beginning any installation work. If you are not comfortable or experienced with electrical wiring, please hire a licensed electrician. Do not install the device near combustible or flammable surfaces, and ensure it is mounted on a 4-inch round UL-listed weatherproof electrical box.

Installation Steps

• Preparation: Rotate the lights and camera into the desired position for your mounting surface (wall or eave).
• Removal: With power off, remove your existing floodlight and any old mounting brackets.
• Mounting: Select the appropriate screws from the provided bags (A-F) to secure the metal mounting bracket to your junction box. Ensure the 'FRONT' text faces outwards.
• Wiring: Connect the green (ground), white (neutral), and black (hot) wires using the provided wire nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.
• Final Assembly: Tuck the wires into the junction box, mount the light fixture onto the threaded posts, and secure it using the hex cap nuts.

Setup and Operation

Once installed, restore power at the breaker. The lamps will flash once the device is powered on. Open the Ring app on your smartphone, select 'Set Up a Device', and scan the provided QR code to complete the configuration process.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

The device is water-resistant but not intended for underwater use. Do not clean the device with abrasive substances, oil, or lotions. If the device appears damaged, discontinue use immediately. The unit does not contain user-serviceable parts or replaceable LEDs.
