Product Description
The Simon K45 Italian Bipasso socket is a 1-element electrical outlet designed for 10/16A current. It features a red finish and is constructed from plastic.
Compatibility
This socket is compatible with Simon K45 envelopes for installation in walls, floors, ceilings, and furniture. It can also be used with Simon 500 Cima envelopes, provided it is combined with the K45 to 500 Cima adapter (Ref. 50012088-030).
Installation and Wiring
The socket utilizes screw terminals for wire connection. To ensure a proper connection, strip 12mm of insulation from the wire. Note that the removal of the socket from its enclosure requires the use of a tool.
Maintenance
To clean the socket, use only a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive detergents or cleaning agents that contain chlorine, as these may damage the surface.

Socket removal
The socket cannot be removed by hand; a tool is required for safe removal from the enclosure.
Cleaning damage
Avoid using chlorine-based or abrasive cleaners. Use only a soft, dry cloth.
Before use
- Verify the enclosure is a compatible Simon K45 or 500 Cima type.
- If using a 500 Cima enclosure, ensure you have the required adapter (Ref. 50012088-030).
- Ensure the electrical circuit is disconnected before starting installation.
- Strip exactly 12mm of insulation from the electrical wire.
- Ensure the screwdriver used for terminals is the correct size for the screw heads.
