This guide provides instructions for the Streetwize 12V In-Car Hair Straighteners (Model SWHS). This device is designed to be powered by a standard 12V vehicle socket or a compatible 12V power station, making it suitable for use while camping or traveling.
Operation
- Insert the 12V plug (A) into the vehicle's 12V power socket or an alternative 12V power source.
- If the device does not receive power, turn your vehicle's ignition key to the 'on' or 'auxiliary' position.
- Observe the red LED (B) on the plug; it will illuminate to indicate that the socket is live and the straighteners are warming up.
- Wait approximately 3 minutes for the unit to reach an acceptable heat level before use.
Safety Warnings
- Avoid pulling wires: Do not pull on the power cord, as this can damage the internal connection.
- Hot surfaces: Do not touch the heating plates (C) as they become very hot.
- Surface protection: Ensure the hot plates are not placed directly onto vehicle surfaces while in use or cooling down.
- Cooling: Always allow the straighteners to cool down for a few minutes before storing them away.
