Safety and Precautions

Important: Read all instructions before use. This appliance uses flammable R32 refrigerant. Repairs must only be carried out by authorized service personnel.

  • Do not use in areas with volatile substances (gasoline, kerosene, etc.).
  • Ensure the unit is connected to a grounded 240V 50Hz power supply.
  • Do not operate with wet hands or in areas exposed to rain/snow.
  • Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
  • Do not move the unit while it is running.
  • Always disconnect from power before maintenance or service.

Installation

Ensure the unit is placed on a level, solid surface. Maintain minimum clearances: 300mm for filter screen and cold air ducting, and 900mm for the hot exhaust pipe from ceilings or obstacles.

  • Elbow Installation: Align notches in the detachable elbow base, insert, and rotate anti-clockwise until locked.
  • Cold Vent Duct: Align notches into the elbow, insert, and rotate left to lock.
  • Hot Exhaust Duct: Insert into the heat vent.

Operation

Unlock castor wheels and position the unit. Check the power cord and plug for damage before use. Rotate the control dial to start the fan (Low/High) and compressor. Rotate to '0' to switch off. Wait 3 minutes before restarting the machine.

Condensation Tank

The unit features an 8-litre condensation tank. When full, the unit must be stopped. Remove, drain, and reinstall the tank before restarting. An optional drain pipe can be used for continuous discharge.

Maintenance

Disconnect power before any maintenance. Clean the filter screen regularly (at least every 2 weeks) using a vacuum cleaner or lukewarm water. Do not use chemicals. Store the unit in a dry location in an upright position.

Troubleshooting

If the unit fails to operate, check for a loose power cable, burnt fuse, or if the compressor overload protection is active. If water leaks, check if the drain pipe is clogged, the tank is full, or the tank is not positioned correctly.
