The Wagner Furno 550 18V is a cordless hot air tool designed for various tasks including paint removal, softening adhesives, shrinking plastic films, and working with heat-shrink tubing. This guide provides essential information for safe and efficient operation.

Safety Information

• The tool reaches temperatures up to 610°C. Always use caution to prevent fire.
• Keep the tool in constant motion; do not hold it in one spot for too long.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 5 cm between the nozzle and the surface to prevent overheating.
• Always use protective gloves and safety glasses.
• When removing paint, use a respirator and ensure good ventilation, as hazardous gases may be released. Do not use on lead-based paint.
• Always place the tool on its support surface to cool down completely before storage.

Operation

Starting the tool:

1. Insert the battery.
2. Press the temperature button to select the desired heat level (1-5).
3. Press and hold the trigger lock, then press the trigger to start the tool.

Hands-free operation: Press the lock button while holding the trigger to activate continuous operation. Place the tool on a flat surface. Press the trigger briefly to stop.

Temperature Settings

The tool features 5 temperature levels:

• Level 1: 300°C
• Level 2: 370°C
• Level 3: 450°C
• Level 4: 520°C
• Level 5: 610°C

Refer to the manual's table for specific task recommendations, such as paint removal (Level 5), thawing (Level 4), or electronic repairs (Level 1-5).

Maintenance

• Keep air intake openings clean and free of obstructions.
• Clean the tool with a mild soap and a damp cloth. Do not use solvents like turpentine or paint thinners.
• Never allow liquid to enter the tool or submerge it in liquid.
• The nozzle may darken over time due to high heat; this is normal.
