To turn on your Xiaomi Pad 8, press and hold the power button. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial device configuration.

Charging the device

For environmental reasons, a charger is not included in the package. You can charge the device using most USB power adapters and a USB Type-C cable. To achieve maximum charging speed, use a charger with an output between 10W and 45W (USB PD fast charging).

  • Connect the tablet to a computer using a USB data cable.
  • Use the included USB cable with a Mi brand charger and connect it to a power strip.
  • Do not charge the device for more than 12 hours.
