The Xiaomi Pad 8 is a tablet device. To turn it on, press and hold the power button. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial configuration of the device.
Charging the device
You can charge the tablet by connecting it to a computer using a USB data cable or by using the included USB cable with a Mi brand charger connected to a power strip. The device supports chargers with a maximum output of 45W. For optimal fast charging speed, use a charger providing between 10W and 45W.
Safety information
- Operating temperature: 0°C to 40°C.
- Battery safety: Do not attempt to replace the built-in battery yourself. Do not disassemble, hit, crush, or burn the battery. If the battery appears deformed or damaged, stop using it immediately.
- Usage restrictions: Do not use the tablet in explosive atmospheres, near petrol stations, or in hospital operating rooms. Maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm from pacemakers.
- Maintenance: Keep the device dry. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself; contact Mi customer support or an authorized repair center.
Factory reset
To erase local data including accounts, contacts, photos, videos, and apps, navigate to Settings > About tablet > Factory reset.
