Quick guide from the manual

This wind generator is designed for small-scale power generation, suitable for supplementing solar panels or powering small electric devices. It is not intended for large electric appliances. The system requires professional installation to ensure safety, as the rotor blades can reach speeds exceeding 162 km/h and the generator can produce voltages over 200 V. The unit connects directly to a battery; no external regulator is required.

Safety instructions

  • Rotor danger: The rotor blades are made of stable nylon fibres and can reach speeds exceeding 162 km/h. They are nearly invisible at high speeds. Never install the generator where people can come into contact with moving blades.
  • Installation height: The generator must be installed at a minimum of 2.70 m above the ground.
  • Structural integrity: The pole and fixings must be able to withstand wind forces. Consult an expert for installation.
  • Electrical safety: The generator can generate direct voltage of more than 200 V. Only competent, electrically qualified persons should perform the installation. Never touch non-insulated cable ends.
  • Cabling: Use cables with a sufficient cross-section to prevent overheating and fire. Ensure cables are protected from mechanical damage.
  • Maintenance: Ensure all screws are well tightened. Secure the device before storms or hurricanes.

  1. Place the flange onto the generator spindle.
  2. Mount the generator to the device and ensure it is straight.
  3. Place the high-quality steel plate on top.
  4. Apply light pressure and tighten the screw-nuts.

Connecting to the command:

  • Gently turn the rotor blades after mounting each piece to ensure smooth operation.
  • Check that all pieces are correctly mounted and tightened before placing the device on its support.
  • Connect cables, recharger, and batteries.
  • Note: An external control is not required. The wind generator can be connected directly to the battery. Connect the red wire to the positive electrode and the blue wire to the negative electrode. Welding the flange is not necessary.

Disposal

This product is subject to the WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU). It must not be disposed of with domestic waste. Please dispose of the device at a designated recycling collection station for electrical and electronic waste.

Practical help

Common problems

Rotor blades spinning too fast

Ensure the installation location is clear of people and obstacles; blades can reach 162 km/h.

High voltage hazard

The generator can produce over 200 V at maximum speed. Only qualified personnel should handle the electrical connections.

Cable overheating

Ensure cables have an appropriate cross-section for the current and are protected from mechanical damage.

Before use

  • Verify the installation height is at least 2.70 m above the ground.
  • Ensure the pole and fixings are strong enough to withstand wind forces.
  • Check that all screws are well tightened.
  • Confirm the battery connection polarity (Red to +, Blue to -).
  • Ensure the installation is performed by a qualified person.

Specs in practice

Starting speed
Minimum wind speed required to begin power generation (2 m/s).
Nominal speed
Wind speed at which the generator reaches its nominal power output (11 m/s).
Output voltage
12V for model 62739, 24V for model 62740.

Images and diagrams
