Quick Guide for Series 150 Head Gasket

This document provides essential information for replacing head gaskets on McDonnell & Miller Series 150 units manufactured after February 1996. Proper identification of the flange type is critical to ensure a correct seal and safe operation.

Gasket Identification and Selection

Before installation, you must identify the flange design of your unit to select the correct gasket. Using the wrong gasket can lead to improper sealing.

• Flat Flange Heads (Previous Design): Use the Flat Flange Gasket. Catalog No. 150-14 (P.N. 325400).
• Raised Flange Heads (New Design, 2-96): Use the Raised Flange Gasket. Catalog No. 150-14H (P.N. 325500).

Important Warning: Do not use the Raised Flange Head gasket on units equipped with Flat Flange Heads.
