Quick Guide

The Zwilling Thermo Food Jar is designed to keep food at the desired temperature. Before using, ensure you rinse the container with hot water for hot food or cold water for cold food to maximize insulation performance. Always fill the container only up to the bottom of the thread to prevent leaks and ensure the lid closes properly.

Cleaning and Care

Before the first use, rinse the product with warm water and a little detergent, then allow it to dry in a well-ventilated area.

• All parts are dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the product.
• Use a soft cloth and standard dish soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring powder, or steel wool.
• For stubborn stains, clean with hot water and baking powder, then rinse thoroughly.
• Clean the container thoroughly after every use.

Usage Instructions

To achieve optimal insulation:

• Rinse with cold water before adding cold drinks or food.
• Rinse with hot water before adding hot drinks or food.
• Fill liquids only up to the bottom of the thread.
• Ensure the lid is closed correctly and fully.

Safety Warnings

Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or scalding:

• Do not use for carbonated drinks, dry ice, dairy products, or baby food (risk of bacterial growth).
• Do not store fermenting foods (e.g., peas, beans, cabbage) as they can build up pressure.
• Do not keep warm food in the container for longer than 10 hours.
• Do not heat in a microwave, oven, or on a grill/hot plate.
• Keep away from heat sources.
• Keep out of reach of children when filled with hot liquids.

Pressure Relief Valve

If pressure has built up inside the container, making it difficult to open, you can safely release it by pressing the pressure relief valve located on the lid.
