Quick guide from the manual
The ADJ Inno Pocket Spot is a DMX-intelligent, moving head LED fixture designed for indoor use. It features 7 colors plus white, a fixed gobo wheel with 7 gobos plus spot, and three operating modes: Sound Active, Show Mode, and DMX Control. The unit includes an automatic voltage switch (100-240V, 50/60Hz).
Safety Precautions
- Indoor use only.
- Do not expose to rain or moisture.
- Ensure proper ventilation with at least 15cm (6 inches) clearance from walls.
- Keep at least 0.5m away from flammable materials.
- The housing may become extremely hot during operation; avoid touching with bare hands.
- Always use the supplied safety cable when mounting overhead.
Mounting
The fixture can be mounted hanging upside-down or set on a flat, level surface. Never mount the unit on its side. When installing overhead, the structure must be able to hold 10 times the weight of the unit. The installation should be checked by a skilled person annually.

DMX Set Up
The unit supports 9-channel and 11-channel DMX modes. Use a 110-ohm DMX cable for data transmission. For long cable runs, use a terminator (120-ohm resistor) on the last fixture in the chain to prevent erratic behavior. DMX addresses are set via the front panel menu.
System Menu
Navigate the menu using the MENU, UP, DOWN, and ENTER buttons. To confirm a setting, press ENTER. To exit without saving, press MENU. The display locks after 30 seconds; hold MENU for 3 seconds to unlock.
- ADDR: Set DMX address.
- CHND: Select 9CH or 11CH mode.
- SHND: Select show modes 0-4.
- SOUN: Enable/disable Sound Active mode.
- SENS: Adjust sound sensitivity (0-100).
- RSET: Reset the unit.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Periodic cleaning is required to maintain light output, especially in environments with smoke or fog. Use a soft cloth and glass cleaner for the outer casing and lenses. Clean external optics every 20 days and internal optics every 30-60 days. Ensure all parts are dry before reconnecting power.
Troubleshooting
- No light output: Check if the external fuse on the rear panel has blown or if the fuse holder is properly seated.
- No response to sound: Ensure the unit is in Sound Active mode and that the sound source has sufficient bass frequencies. Tapping the microphone or high-pitched sounds may not trigger the unit.

Common problems
Check if the external fuse on the rear panel is blown and ensure the fuse holder is fully seated.
Ensure the unit is in Sound Active mode. The unit reacts to bass frequencies; high-pitched sounds or tapping the microphone may not trigger it.
Ensure you are using a 110-ohm DMX cable and that the last unit in the chain is terminated with a 120-ohm resistor.
Before use
- Inspect the shipping carton and fixture for damage.
- Ensure the power outlet matches the required voltage (auto-sensing 100-240V).
- Verify the mounting surface can support 10 times the unit's weight.
- Install the safety cable for overhead mounting.
- Ensure at least 15cm of ventilation space around the unit.
