Quick guide from the manual
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe operation and maintenance of the Batavia 18V Cordless Caulking Gun (Model BT-CCG002). This tool is designed for domestic use to dispense caulking or filling materials. It is not intended for continuous, professional, or industrial use.

Operation
- Press the release button (6) to the left and pull the rack rod back by the handle (7) to the end of the cartridge holder (1).
- Insert the cartridge into the holder.
- Press the release button (6) to the left and push the rack rod (7) forward until it rests against the back of the cartridge.
- Press the release button (6) to the right and squeeze the trigger switch (3) until material begins to flow from the nozzle.
- Release the trigger switch (3) to stop. The rack rod will automatically retract slightly to prevent material overflow.
Speed Control
The tool features a variable-speed trigger and an infinitely adjustable speed regulator (2). For best results, start at the lowest setting (1) and increase the speed as needed for your application. Setting a high speed at the start may cause excessive material flow.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or cleaning. Keep ventilation openings and the motor housing free of dust and dirt. Clean the tool regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use solvents, as they may damage plastic components. Ensure no water enters the tool.
Safety
- Always wear eye protection when using the caulking gun.
- Work in a well-ventilated area; use respiratory protection if necessary.
- Keep hands and clothing away from the rack rod and plunger area.
- When working overhead, ensure the plunger rod is not pointing toward your eyes or head.
- Ensure no caulk or adhesive contacts the battery terminals.
