The Bebe Stars 721 Bed Rail is designed to provide a safety barrier for children between 12 months and 5 years old. It is intended for use on beds with metallic or slatted frames. Proper installation is critical for child safety; ensure the rail is securely fixed and that there is a gap of at least 250mm between the bed end and the rail to prevent entrapment.

Safety Warnings

• Age Range: Intended for children aged 12 months to 5 years who can climb on and off the bed independently.
• Mattress Compatibility: Do not use with mattresses thicker than 20cm. Not recommended for low-density mattresses.
• Bed Compatibility: Do not use on beds where the top surface of the mattress is higher than 60cm from the floor. Do not use on bunk beds, cots, or beds with side panels.
• Installation: Must be installed by an adult. Ensure the rail is firmly fixed to the bed frame.
• Usage: Never leave the child unattended. Do not use as a replacement for a cot. Keep away from heat sources, electrical cables, and objects that could cause strangulation (curtains, strings).

Assembly Instructions

1. Frame Assembly: Connect the top tubes (Part B) as shown in the diagram.
2. Fabric Installation: Thread the connected top tube through the fabric cover (Part E).
3. Folding Mechanism: Connect the top tube to the folding mechanism (Part A).
4. Bottom Assembly: Assemble the bottom tubes (Part C) and thread them through the fabric cover.
5. Final Connection: Connect the bottom tube assembly to the folding mechanism (Part A) and attach the bracing tubes (Part D).

Adjustment

The bed rail features adjustable settings for convenience:

• Height Adjustment: Push the button on the mechanism to adjust the height of the bed rail.
• Rotation: Pull the button to rotate the bed rail, allowing for easier access to the bed.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Cleaning and maintenance must be performed by an adult.

• Cleaning: Clean fabric parts with a soft cloth soaked in water or a neutral detergent. Clean plastic parts with a damp cloth.
• Metal Parts: Dry metal parts thoroughly after any contact with water to prevent rust.
• Maintenance: Periodically check that all components are not worn, broken, or damaged. Do not use the product if any parts are damaged. Store in a dry place.
