This manual provides essential instructions for the assembly, safe use, and maintenance of the Bestway Steel Pro MAX Oval Frame Pool. Before beginning, ensure you have all parts listed in the manual and that you have read all safety warnings. The pool requires 2-3 people for assembly and takes approximately 40-60 minutes to set up, excluding preparation and filling time.

Site Selection
Choosing the right location is critical for the safety and longevity of your pool:

- Level Ground: The surface must be perfectly level. A slope of more than 2 cm can cause structural failure.
- Surface Preparation: Clear the area of all debris, roots, and sharp objects that could damage the pool liner.
- Weight Bearing: The ground must be able to support the weight of the water and users.
- Proximity: Place the pool near a suitable drainage system and ensure the inlet/outlet valves are facing the power source for the filter system.
- Prohibited Surfaces: Do not set up on mud, sand, gravel, decks, balconies, or soft/loose soil.
Assembly

- Preparation: Assemble the pool at an ambient temperature above 15°C to ensure the PVC liner is flexible.
- Frame Assembly: Follow the specific diagram for your pool size. Connect the top rails and vertical legs as shown in the manual.
- Liner Setup: Ensure the vertical legs are inserted through the liner sleeves and stand perfectly vertical.
- Filling: Fill the pool with water. Once filled to 1 cm, smooth out any wrinkles in the bottom liner, starting from the center and moving outward.
- Final Filling: Continue filling until the water level reaches 90% capacity (do not exceed the welding seam).
Maintenance and Water Chemistry
Maintaining water quality is essential for health and safety. Use a test kit to monitor water parameters regularly:
- pH Value: 6.8 - 7.6
- Free Chlorine: 0.3 - 1.5 mg/l
- Cyanuric Acid: Max 100 mg/l
- Combined Chlorine: Max 0.5 mg/l
Use a chemical dispenser for tablets; never add chemicals directly into the water as this can damage the liner. Regularly clean the filter pump and use a skimmer or vacuum to remove debris.
Dismantling and Storage
To store the pool at the end of the season:

- Drain: Drain the pool in a safe location, following local regulations.
- Clean: Wash the liner with clean tap water and allow it to dry completely in the sun.
- Dry: Ensure the liner is 100% dry to prevent mold. You may use talcum powder to prevent the material from sticking together.
- Store: Fold the liner and store it in a dry place with moderate temperatures (15°C - 38°C).
