Quick guide from the manual
The Bosch GAS 12V Professional is a cordless dry vacuum cleaner. This guide covers essential operations, maintenance, and safety precautions. Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or accessory changes to prevent accidental startup.
Device Description
The vacuum consists of a motor housing, a dust cup, a filter assembly, and a crevice nozzle. It is powered by a Bosch 12V lithium-ion battery.
Battery Charging and Usage
Use only recommended Bosch chargers. The battery is delivered partially charged; charge it fully before first use. The battery charge-control indicator (3 green LEDs) shows the status for 3 seconds after startup. If no LEDs light up, the battery is defective.
Operation
Ensure the filter assembly is securely installed before vacuuming. Use only undamaged filters; replace immediately if torn or punctured. Press the On/Off button (2) to start and stop the vacuum.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Clean the dust cup (8) after every use to maintain optimal performance. Hold the vacuum slightly downward when opening to prevent dust from falling out. The filter assembly (15) should be cleaned regularly by brushing the pleated filter with a soft brush. Do not clean the filter assembly with water.
Troubleshooting
If suction performance is insufficient, check the following:
- Is the dust cup (8) full? Empty it.
- Is the pleated filter clogged? Clean it.
- Is the battery capacity too low? Charge the battery.
