Quick guide from the manual
The Bosch GlassVAC is a cordless surface cleaner designed for domestic use on smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass, mirrors, and tiles. It is not suitable for vacuuming dust. The device is powered by a non-replaceable lithium-ion battery.
Initial Operation and Charging
The battery is supplied partially charged. Fully charge the battery before the first use. The micro-USB port for charging is located in the handle. Connect the device to the provided charger using the included micro-USB cable. The battery indicator flashes green when low, and red when it needs charging. During charging, the indicator light is solid red; it turns solid green when fully charged.
Operation
The spray applicator is used to apply detergent to the surface. Use detergents designed for window vacuums; for best results, use Bosch GlassVAC Detergent Concentrate. After spraying, use the vacuum head to remove liquid from the surface. The device can be used vertically, horizontally, or at an angle.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always clean the device thoroughly after use. Remove the suction head and rinse it. Fill the dirty water tank with clean, warm water through the suction head aperture up to the MAX line, shake the device, and empty it through the drain plug. Protect the suction head during storage to avoid damaging the wiper blade.
Troubleshooting
- Machine will not switch on: Battery discharged or too hot/cold.
- Restricted or no vacuum: Suction head blocked or drain plug missing.
- Water leaks: Spray applicator not mounted correctly.
- Streaking on windows: Wiper blade damaged or incorrect force applied.
