The Bosch UniversalWorkLight 18V-2100 is a portable, battery-operated work light designed for temporary mobile illumination in domestic settings. It features adjustable brightness levels and can be positioned using its integrated handle/stand, hook, or magnets.

Safety instructions
- Heat generation: The work light generates intense heat. Keep it away from heat-sensitive or flammable objects.
- Magnets: Keep the work light away from medical implants (e.g., pacemakers, insulin pumps) and magnetic data storage media.
- Battery safety: Remove the battery before transport or storage to prevent accidental activation.
- Eye safety: Do not look directly into the light beam for prolonged periods.
Operation
Battery installation: Slide the charged battery into the battery holder until it clicks into place.

Switching on/off and adjusting brightness: Use the light switch (2) to cycle through modes:
- Press 1x: Low brightness
- Press 2x: Medium brightness
- Press 3x: Full brightness
- Press 4x or press and hold: Switch off
Setup and positioning
Unfold the handle/stand (5) and, if necessary, the hook (4) to position the light. Ensure the light is on a stable surface. The lamp head (1) can be rotated to different positions within the handle/stand.

Maintenance and cleaning
The work light is maintenance-free. Clean the plastic lens only with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use detergents or solvents. If the light source is defective, the entire unit must be replaced.
Temperature protection
The work light features a temperature-dependent overload protection. If the permissible operating temperature is exceeded, the light will switch off automatically. Allow it to cool down before further use.

Common problems
The unit may have exceeded its operating temperature. Allow it to cool down. Also, check if the battery is empty (the light flashes 3 times before switching off).
If the middle LED flashes, there is a fault in the work light; contact Bosch customer service. If all LEDs flash, the battery or light is outside the operating temperature range; allow them to cool down.

- Check that the work light is positioned on a stable surface.
- Ensure sufficient distance from heat-sensitive or flammable objects.
